Chick lit author Tia Williams revealed the title of her fifth book.
Seven Days in June surrounds an erotica writer juggling her career and single motherhood who has to wrestle with the return of the love of her life, a famous novelist, after their torrid affair from 20 years ago. Their rekindled romance becomes the talk of the town, especially with the black literati. It will be brought to life through Grand Central Publishing with sales expected to start in June 2021.
“Guys, after writing my face off for three arduous years—all while promoting The Perfect Find, and copy-writing, and not-sleeping, and mothering, and meltdowning—I somehow finished writing novel #5,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
Tia’s most recent novel is 2012’s The Perfect Find via Brown Girls Books about a 40-year-old New York magazine editor who falls in love with a 20-year-old photographer. It’s in the process of being turned into a film from Gabrielle Union’s production company.
Women’s fiction book The Accidental Diva is Tia’s first novel published in 2004, followed by the 2007 young adult The It Chicks and 2005 coffee table book The Beauty of Color she co-wrote with supermodel Iman,
