Multifaceted celebrity Priyanka Chopra Jonas posted a series of videos on Instagram featuring photos across her life to tease her upcoming memoir.

With the title Unfinished, the Indian American actress/model/pageant queen/philanthropist plans to release the memoir on Jan. 19, 2021 under the Penguin Random House imprint Ballantine Books. The publisher uses the following quote to capture the story.

I am a product of traditional India and its ancient wisdom, and modern India and its urban bustle. My upbringing was always an amalgamation of the two Indias, and, just as much, of East and West.

Unfinished, according to the publisher, will follow Priyanka from her childhood in India, where she was raised by her grandparents and her Army doctor parents. She was sent away to boarding school where she explored the U.S. as a teen living with extended family in the Midwest, New York City, and Boston, experiencing racism for the first time. Eventually returning to India, Priyanka gets into the beauty pageant game, winning the Miss India and Miss World titles that launched her acting career in Bollywood then in Hollywood with the ABC drama Quantico. The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador will show her journey from losing her father to cancer to marrying pop star Nick Jonas.

The book is available for pre-order with the audiobook and e-book having the same January release date.
